Working in a jewelry store that specialized in one-of-a-kind jewelry brought in many people who wanted a piece of unique jewelry but wanting it designed and built at a fraction of the cost to own such a treasure. I often wondered what it was they were going to do with the money they saved by trying not to pay us for what the object was worth. This ring was the end result of that befuddlement. I have since decided to “take it with me”.
